Star Citizen Mining Calculator and Ship Loadout Planner
This page is a Star Citizen mining calculator designed to help you compare mining lasers, modules, and gadgets, as well as plan your ship loadout in one place. You can choose any available ship from the list, test different combinations of lasers and modules, view their combined effects, and save your loadout for future use.
The current dataset includes 7 mining ships, 17 mining lasers, and 34 modules and gadgets, including 8 active modules, 20 passive modules, and 6 rock-mounted gadgets.
Supported Mining Ships
The calculator currently supports the following mining ships: Argo MOLE, Argo MOLE Teach’s Special, Drake Golem, Drake Golem Teach’s Special, Drake Golem Wikelo Work Special, MISC Prospector, and MISC Prospector Wikelo Work Special.
Each ship has its own slot layout, default equipment, and module capacity. The combined stats are updated every time you change the ship or any of its components.
Mining Laser Brands and Comparison Stats
The mining lasers in this calculator are manufactured by companies such as Drake Interplanetary, Greycat Industrial, Musashi Industrial & Starflight Concern, Shubin Interstellar, and Thermyte Concern.
The comparison tables are organized to make it easy to compare optimal range, minimum and maximum power, extraction speed, instability, optimal charge rate, optimal window size, and inert material filtering.
What You Can Use This Mining Calculator For
Use this page to compare ship mining loadouts, review the combined impact of passive and active modules, and find the best setup for solo mining or group resource extraction. The laser and module tables are also useful as a reference, allowing players to review the details of all available components outside the calculator itself.
How to Use the Mining Calculator
Choose a ship, select a laser for each slot, then add modules and/or a gadget. The combined effects panel updates automatically, making it easy to compare power, extraction speed, stability, and other mining-related stats while planning your loadout.
