SCitizen Fleet Sync is a browser extension for Star Citizen players who want to keep their Fleet on scitizen.net synchronized with their RSI Hangar.
This page explains what information the extension accesses, what is sent to SCitizen, and how that information is used.
What the extension accesses
When you start a Fleet synchronization, the extension accesses your authenticated RSI Hangar on:
robertsspaceindustries.com
It reads only the Hangar information needed to identify your ships and vehicles and keep the corresponding Fleet entries on scitizen.net up to date.
The extension does not browse through unrelated parts of your RSI account or collect information from unrelated websites.
What is sent to SCitizen
The extension sends only the information needed to synchronize your Fleet.
This may include:
- ship and vehicle names;
- identifiers associated with Hangar entries;
- pledge or package identifiers needed to distinguish Fleet entries;
- other Hangar information required to identify and synchronize a ship or vehicle correctly.
This information is associated with the SCitizen account that started the synchronization.
What we do not collect
SCitizen Fleet Sync does not send the following information to scitizen.net:
- your RSI password;
- your RSI login credentials;
- RSI authentication tokens;
- RSI session cookies;
- payment or billing information;
- your general browsing history;
- content from unrelated websites.
The extension uses your existing RSI browser session when requesting your Hangar from robertsspaceindustries.com. Your RSI authentication cookies remain part of the browser-to-RSI request and are not transmitted to scitizen.net by the extension.
How we use the data
The information collected by SCitizen Fleet Sync is used for one primary purpose:
to synchronize ships and vehicles from your RSI Hangar with your Fleet on scitizen.net.
We may also use the information when necessary to maintain, troubleshoot, secure, or improve the Fleet synchronization functionality.
We do not use this data for advertising, user profiling, credit decisions, or other unrelated purposes.
Sharing of information
We do not sell Fleet Sync data or provide it to advertisers or data brokers.
Information collected through the extension is used only as necessary to operate SCitizen and the Fleet synchronization feature.
We may disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security and integrity of the service.
Data retention
Imported Fleet information is stored as part of your SCitizen Fleet.
If a ship or vehicle is no longer present in your RSI Hangar during a later successful synchronization, SCitizen may mark the corresponding Fleet entry as no longer present instead of immediately deleting the underlying historical record.
This helps maintain synchronization history and data consistency.

Security
Communication between the extension, robertsspaceindustries.com, and scitizen.net uses HTTPS.
SCitizen Fleet Sync does not intentionally transmit RSI passwords, authentication tokens, or session cookies to scitizen.net.
All executable code used by the extension is included with the installed extension. The extension does not download and execute remote JavaScript or other remote executable code.
Browser permissions
SCitizen Fleet Sync requests access only to websites required for its functionality.
Access to robertsspaceindustries.com is required to retrieve your authenticated RSI Hangar.
Access to scitizen.net is required to communicate with the SCitizen Fleet interface and synchronize your Fleet.
The extension does not request general access to unrelated websites.
Your control
Fleet synchronization is initiated through the SCitizen Fleet Sync functionality.
The extension does not continuously monitor your browsing activity.
You can disable or remove the extension at any time through your browser’s extension settings.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
SCitizen Fleet Sync uses information obtained through the extension only to provide and improve the Fleet synchronization functionality described in this policy.
Its use of data is intended to comply with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Third-party services
SCitizen Fleet Sync interacts with the Star Citizen website at robertsspaceindustries.com, which is operated by Cloud Imperium Games.
Cloud Imperium Games and Robert Space Industries are independent third parties and their own privacy policies apply to information processed by their services.
SCitizen and SCitizen Fleet Sync are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Cloud Imperium Games.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the functionality of SCitizen Fleet Sync or the way it handles data changes.
If we make material changes to the way the extension collects or uses information, we will update this page and the extension’s store listing where appropriate.
